Did Nerves Get The Better Of You On Your Wedding Day?

My wedding day was over 20 years ago, but I still have such wonderful memories of the occasion.

Of course, we store a lot of memories in our brain but ultimately the wedding photographs are a constant reminder of your wedding day. I certainly cherish my photos, even more so as many of my relatives are sadly no longer alive, so it is wonderful to look at pictures of happier times when we were all together.

At the time of our wedding, we called upon the services of a Brighton Photographer. His portfolio was absolutely magnificent and he certainly knew his angles!

I know I am biased but I honestly believe he was the best Sussex Wedding Photographer we could have chosen.Naturally it probably had something to do with the fact that he had such wonderful people to photo, that his photos turned out as well as they did!

As soon as I met him though, I knew he was the perfect choice and he was immediately on my wavelength and knew exactly what I would be looking for.

I’m not at all flouncy and I certainly didn’t want a pack of photos that didn’t really show the real me. He delivered honest pictures taken straight from the heart, just as I had wanted.

The pictures I have are absolutely great. I must admit though that when I look back at our photos, it is weird how much fashion has moved forward. It’s not only fashion that is so different, but hairstyles as well. All those years ago when I got hitched, clothing was really in your face and big hair was in fashion. I really don’t know what happened to my mum’s dress sense or what she was thinking when she chose her outlandish purple outfit. She was kitted out from top to toe in purple and in her hair she had some purple flowers. Mum looked absolutely gorgeous though I will cherish every single wedding photo I have of her as she sadly passed away a few years ago.

Of course, not all photographers are good and I suppose given the fact that some of them specialise in Commercial photography, it can’t always be easy taking good pictures. When you photograph people, you can at least get some form of expression from them, is there anything you can do to make a building more appealing?

Photographer Saves My Christmas Worries

I’m hoping to get a present for my Nan that she is going to treasure for many years to come.

Unfortunately she lives in a very tiny flat so it has to be something small. I considered a lovely jewellery piece, but if the truth be told, she has such an abundance of jewellery that I have decided against this.

I would like to get her something that is going to be unique and special to her.

Suddenly out of the blue it struck me, why not book a session with our local Brighton Photographer. He did a brilliant job on my wedding photography, so I know we would be well looked after and he will get some great photos.

I’m looking to get a wonderful family portrait taken, but I hate those stuffy pictures where they make you over to resemble somebody you would never look like. It just doesn’t appeal to me to be made up to look like people we aren’t. What I’m looking for is pictures of us as we really are – warts and all. After all, we are who we are and no amount of fancy makeup and clothing is going to change this.

That’s one more present done and dusted, now if only I could sort out everybody else’s I could maybe relax and begin to take it easy.

There is no chance of that at work at the moment as my boss has just asked me to look into sorting out some Commercial Photography on our office block. Apparently we are going to be getting a jazzy portfolio together and he wants some fantastic photos. As though that wasn’t bad enough, my niece has just announced she is getting married in February and needs to sort out her photography. Naturally she wants the best Sussex Wedding Photographer, so I have put my photographers name forward.I know he will do an absolutely fantastic job. I just hope he isn’t already booked as the wedding is only a matter of weeks away. It’s strange she is suddenly in a hurry to get married, it’s got me wondering if she is keeping something quiet!!
